Following the success of the 1st European conference in Vilnius, Lithuania, we are pleased to invite you to attend the 2nd conference in St. Petersburg. The theme for the conference in 2012 is
BORDERLANDS
Historical- Cultural- Clinical- Scientific
Russia lies in a borderland of countries with a history of intense wars and where the Russian people themselves were also the victims for many generations of dictatorial rule. St Petersburg, the vision of Peter the Great, lends itself to a conference on analytical psychology where for more than 200 years, the arts have been the vehicle for philosophical, religious and political debates without a free press or democratic government.
The Russian Society for Analytical Psychology (RSAP) with the support of the four London Jungian Training Institutes (Society of Analytical Psychology, Association of Jungian Analysts, British Association of Psychotherapists, and the Independent Group of Analytical Psychologists) and the Swiss Society for Analytical Psychology invite you to attend what we anticipate will be an exciting conference.
The conference will be in English with Russian interpretation and will offer plenary papers and panels, break-out sessions, a social dreaming matrix and small group discussions.
